Certified cosmetic formulator
Formulation, stability, preservation, pH, actives at meaningful percentages, and the discipline of knowing when a beautiful idea will not survive contact with a jar.
Why was I doing everything right… yet my skin was telling a different story?
Somewhere between taking care of everything — and everyone — I quietly stopped taking care of myself. And my skin noticed before I did.
Breakouts became frequent. Dullness set in, no matter what I used. It felt irritated. Sensitive. Tired. So I did what most of us do. I searched for another product. Then another.
I was trying to fix what I could see, without understanding what was happening beneath the surface.

The people I met weren't chasing perfection. They lived simply — closer to nature, closer to their food, closer to themselves. There was a quiet kind of beauty about them. Not the beauty created by filters or routines. The kind that comes from balance.
What if healthy skin isn't something we apply?
What if it's something we cultivate?

And started asking what my skin was responding to. That single change in the question is the whole of RASĀ. It's why we begin every relationship with a reading rather than a recommendation, and why the first thing we'll ever sell you is understanding.

I am a certified cosmetic formulator. I also read Sushruta and Charaka in translation, with the chapter open, because almost nobody selling Ayurvedic skincare in India actually does — and it shows in what gets claimed.
Before that I was someone who couldn't sit still. Sports, studies, work, the gym, family, friends, my pets. I loved being busy and I loved saying yes, and my skin was the first thing to tell me the arithmetic didn't work.
RASĀ wasn't born because the world needed another skincare brand. It was born because I wished someone had told me sooner that my skin wasn't the problem. It was asking to be understood.
Ayurveda tells me what a skin needs and why. Cosmetic formulation tells me whether what I've made is stable, safe and actually delivers it. Neither one alone is enough.

Every formula begins in a named group of drugs — a gana or mahakashaya — read in the classical text rather than in somebody's summary of it. The text, the chapter and the stated action are printed on the product page. If it isn't there, we don't claim it.
Traditional use and clinical proof are not the same thing, and I will always tell you which one you're getting. Most people don't need another product — they need someone to explain, without mystique and without fear, what their skin has been trying to say.

The most carefully sourced Ayurvedic skincare in India — where every claim can be traced to a chapter, every ingredient earns its place by what it does, and the product is the natural end of an education rather than the beginning of a pitch.
